Starting in October 1926, the bodies of executed victims were buried in the Vagankovskoe Cemetery. The cemetery's director was responsible for arranging burials for almost ten years, starting in the mid-1920s. The director’s signature can be seen on countless documents “accepting corpses for burial.” The last known documented source related to the Vaganskoe Cemetery is dated from the spring of 1936.
