Orphan teenagers were sent to the Factory Apprenticeship School Serp i molot (Hammer and Sickle) to learn a trade. This is confirmed by the list of names of children who were taken away from the shelter of the Detkomissiya (Children’s Committee) of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee.
According to other sources, the address of the factory apprenticeship school was the following: Moscow, village of Novoe Gireevo (after 1960, simply Moscow), 11 pathway.
