Labor commune “1st of May” / Labor colony № 7 / Orphanage № 36
Address: former Brockar's estate, the town of Pushkino, Moscow region.
Soon after the October Revolution, the country house of Brockar with the properties on its territory was nationalized and converted into a school colony and orphanage. Later, it became the labor commune and orphanage under the name 1st of May.
In 1943, the orphanage 1st of May was the first one in the “number of escapes” rating among the orphanages of Moscow and Moscow region (17 pupils escaped in 1943).
In 1994, the house of the orphanage was burned down.
